大地を紡ぐ陶芸
陶芸家 山下公敏の作陶は、地元である備後地区の素材に根ざし創られています。原土を手に取り、土と水と火の声を聴き、それを元に作陶されています。その土地の特性、粘り、質感、色彩 それぞれの表情を持った作品に生まれ変わります。
Pottery artist Kimitoshi Yamashita’s work is rooted in the materials of his hometown in the Bingo area. He takes the raw clay in his hands, listens to the voice of the earth, water, and fire, and creates pottery based on these sounds. The characteristics of the local soil, its consistency, texture, and color, are all expressed in each piece of pottery.
